The EP compiles material from their first three 7" singles alongside previously unreleased tracks, capturing the formative years of one of the defining bands of the American shoegaze scene.
The release features âSarah Sittingâ (summer 1991 home recording, first released on the Sarah Sitting 7" on Slumberland Records), the previously unreleased âTall Shipsâ, âUpstairsâ (recorded in February 1992 at Fort Apache with Tim OâHeir, remixed at Q Division by Rich Costey, with an earlier mix appearing on the Error 7"), and âHer Life of Artistic Freedomâ, originally released on the Red Fish Dreams double split 7" with Kudgel in 1992.
